Lift Ministries Story

In the summer of 1992, three men, after much prayer and decision, decided to begin a camping ministry where students would be encouraged to know, love, and follow Jesus. No one could have imagined the widespread impact this student camping ministry would have in the coming years.

After four years without name identification, in 1996 the name LIFT student ministries (LSM), was introduced to the students for the first time. Lift which stands for Linking an Interstate Fellowship of Teenagers for the purpose of Lifting up Christ. Lift has grown from a humble beginning of a few hundred students to a national camping ministry impacting thousands each summer.

For over 16 years Lift Ministries has been impacting the lives of students across the world. Since 1992, LIFT has ministered to over 30,000 students, resulting in several thousand coming to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. We have also experienced several students surrendering their lives for full-time Christian service.

It is our sincere desire to be an effective partner with student ministries across America, helping stem the decline and disconnect students have with making their faith real and willing to live by throughout their lives
